Microsoft Fabric

Microsoft Fabric Consulting from a Certified Microsoft Partner

Microsoft Fabric combines Synapse, Power BI Premium, Data Factory, and more under one capacity — and the migration math plus the “is it ready” question keep coming up. We’re a Microsoft Partner and we build Fabric deployments that match real workloads: greenfield Fabric, Synapse or Power BI Premium migrations, OneLake rollout, Real-Time Intelligence, and Copilot integration — with an honest read on what’s production-ready and what isn’t yet.

Where Fabric Decisions Get Stuck

Exillar-Favicon
search
Microsoft keeps reminding you Fabric is the future. You’re on Synapse and Power BI Premium today. The migration path isn’t obvious.
01
Your Fabric F64 capacity bill is climbing. Nobody has a handle on what’s consuming the CUs.
02
You turned on OneLake. Nobody on the team has agreed what lives there versus in Synapse versus in Power BI.
03
You’re weighing Fabric against Snowflake and Databricks for a new build. The workload fit is unclear.
04
Copilot is available. Nobody has scoped where it would actually earn its keep in your stack.

    What Changes After We Engage

Six scenarios the buyer can picture.

Fabric vs alternatives is a scored decision, not a vendor pitch

You sit down with a scored comparison of Fabric, Snowflake, and Databricks against your actual workloads. The decision takes a week. The CFO accepts the rationale without a second review.

Synapse-to-Fabric migration ships without breaking production

Your pipelines, semantic models, and reports move to Fabric on a phased schedule. End users see the same dashboards with better performance. Admins see OneLake-native lineage for the first time.

    F64 capacity tracks actual usage

Your Fabric capacity review runs weekly. Idle dataflows get paused. Heavy notebooks get right-sized. The CU bill matches the value your business is getting.

OneLake has rules, not tribal knowledge

A new engineer joins. They get a one-page OneLake guide — which workspace, which shortcut, which lakehouse, which semantic model. No three-week tribal-knowledge discovery.

Real-Time Intelligence processes events before the batch would

Your operational event stream lands in Eventhouse in sub-second. Anomaly detection fires on Data Activator in real time. The dashboard reflects it without a nightly refresh.

Copilot ships where it earns its keep

Copilot for Power BI is enabled for your sales team — they ask questions in natural language against a trusted semantic model. Copilot for Fabric is enabled where it accelerates Spark notebook work. It's scoped to clear ROI, not a blanket rollout.

    How We Engage

    1

    Fabric readiness assessment
We assess your current Microsoft stack, target workloads, capacity sizing, and licensing model against where Fabric is mature today versus maturing — so the recommendation reflects reality, not a Microsoft slide.

    2

    Implementation or phased migration
Phased Synapse-to-Fabric or Power BI Premium-to-Fabric migration, or greenfield Fabric build, with OneLake, pipelines, and semantic models designed to Fabric-native patterns and tested against your live workloads before cutover.

    3

Handover with capacity runbooks and Copilot rollout plan
You walk away with capacity monitoring runbooks, OneLake governance, Fabric Copilot rollout plan, and training for your team to operate Fabric the way a Microsoft Partner would.

Get a Scored Fabric Readiness Report Before the Next Contract Renewal

Book a Fabric readiness review. We’ll assess your current Microsoft stack, score Fabric against your actual workloads, and come back with a migration timeline — or a “not yet” recommendation if that’s the honest answer.

    Got Questions?

Is Fabric actually production-ready? We've heard mixed things.
Yes for most workloads. Data Engineering, Data Warehouse, Power BI on Fabric, and OneLake are production-mature. Real-Time Intelligence and Copilot are newer and we scope them case by case. We give an honest read per workload, not a blanket answer.
Depends on your contract renewal dates, workload patterns, and whether OneLake unifies work you currently split between stores. For many mid-market clients, the economics favour migration within 12–18 months. For some, the right answer is wait another year. We score both paths against your real data.
Typically lower when workloads overlap in time — OneLake and Direct Lake reduce duplication. Higher when your workloads don’t overlap, or when Power BI Premium capacity is already right-sized. We model both sides before recommending.
No. OneLake sits on top of ADLS Gen2 behind the scenes. Existing data in Gen2 can be surfaced into OneLake via shortcut without physical migration, so the transition is incremental and reversible.
